Hi From the Hot state

Hey all

It had been a long time sense I have email or blogged and thought you might want to know how things are going with me. When I gather my thoughts to think about all of the things I have been doing sense the last time I talked to you, I come up with some horse things, and some busses thing to talk about.

I am going to start with some horse things. When it comes to horse things I have been doing a lot of learning. (Just for Rick) J I got to go up where it is a little cooler, in Prescott AZ to a Parelli Demo. It was in the middle of July and was a two day clinic. I went with my parents and our friend Doni. I loved it. I understood a lot of the things they did. ( Rick he even used the big fishing pole.) Haha anyways I just love that I can share my hunger of learning this stuff with my parents and friends. I really got pumped up to start doing more of this with my horse. (I don’t have to have Rick there with me) (Thought to self)

Thanks to Sara and Harline, I never look at a horse the same. I see a lot more that I understand than I have before. I had doubts about if I was going to remember any thing from Anatomy and movement but to my surprised I have learned just enough to get me cereous and started. I now know that the rest will just take time and I will learn more as I see more.

My mom knows this lady that teaches Parelli in our aria and she came out to give mom and I a lesson the other day and man I just starve for more every time I get to do any natural horse stuff, and I get so bummed out because it is so hot hear and I just get so unmotivated sometimes when it is so hot.

When it comes to my busses I have worked on one horse that I got paid for. It was the lady that thought me lessens when I use to show. I worked on her daughter’s horse before they went to St. Louise to a big horse show. I have not herd how they did yet I think they just got back a few days ago. Other than that I have gotten some calls on pricing and I had a demo at a barn but it got reecular. I have my cards and flyers out at some tack stores and barns but I have not had any work I think It is because it’s the middle of the summer and no one really dose any horse stuff right now. I have had a few meat downs and I have been stressed because I have to start job hunting sense I am running out of money and I think until things pick up in the horse world I wont be busy in the summer until I get some clients and even then I might have to work at a job during the summers. I am okay with that or will be once I have a job. It is hard for me because I have never had a “real” job I have just baby sat for years and now that I can only pay to put gas in my car with baby sitting money and nothing els I need a job so I can put gas in my car and do other things as well.

Oaky so I think I cough you all up on my life. I miss you guys so much and when I look at photos and slide shows I can’t believe that you guys have came into my life. I think you have to conceder you all are every important because I am still talking to you guys and think about each and every one of you every day.

last school day

okay so we have had some really good times to rap this week up. Graduation is in the morning and my family and Micha (aka my adopted sister) is hear and we got t0gether with Sar’s family for dinner and then Micha and I hung out at the hot tub with the divas and the babes and sue.

Cat Sara Laura and I have been cleaning and packing our apartment is really getting empty. It is sad.

I just want every one that I have spent the last 2 months with know that I will miss then so much and I am sad that we have to part tomorrow.

last week

okay so the week is coming to a end. I can't believe where the 2 months have gone but they sure flow by fast.

It is weird that Loveland has become a home. I sure will miss it.

So our now done with Business and horsemanship classed and are just finishing up the week with massage.

I had quite the week. We had presentations on Tuesday. First in business We had to give a 5min talk about to a group. Mine was as if I was talking to the Jr. POA club about massage. Then in horsemanship class we where assigned to Wright a paper on 2 quote and share our experience. (it is had to explain) and we had to turn those in last week but we had to read them in class in this week on the same day are our business presentations and when It was my time to read my presentation I started to cry I think it was a mix of emotions and also I wrote about the struggles Marvin and I had when I first got him and how I started to give up. I had a bad afternoon but then it got better.

After school all most the whole class went to The Rock Bottom Brewery for dinner. It was so much fun. After we got back from dinner every one in my apartment and the divas and Stefani form the other apartment went to the pool and we hung out in the hot tub and pool for a wile. So much fun.

Today we went to Vern's for breakfast and Sara and I split pancakes cause they are as big as your head and after breakfast we went to the dude ranch and worked on two horse each so we got back home about 3.

My family and Micha should be on there way tomorrow so I am excited for that.

I can't believe that this is almost over. I have had lots of massage all over the place and we are now done with our anatomy. We have one more natural horsemen ship class, so that leaves us with a couple more movement classes and Business and massage.

I don't think we have gone to any where new really so I am not sure what all I should say to catch you up.

My Week

ok so this week has been a little stressful Because be had a anatomy final but it was not that bad sense it was a take home test and open book. Then we went over it in class so that was good. Then we went to the ranch and had a oral test and that was a little hard but I only missed like 2 so I did prettily good. After we where done with our exam all most every one went to dinner at The Read Rock Brewery for dinner it was really good.

It rained starting last nigh thought this afternoon. It was nice but I wish I could take it home we need it more.

Today we had pathology with the vet. I really like her. We have her tomorrow as well so it should be interesting.
I am really excited to come home and start my practice.

I love you Marvin I am coming home soon so get better. (I know Marvin can't read this but some one should tell him what it says) :) haha j\k

a bunch of days

Okay so It has been a wile sense I have bloged and hear is what you have missed.

Thursday we went to a new ranch why out there. It was really cool the Wrangler was full of shit and was just joking with us the whole time. We worked on two horses before lunch. The horses that are at this ranch are a little more lively than the ones we have worked on before. At lunch the cook at the ranch feed us sloppy Jo's, fruit, chips, coleslaw, and for desert we they had ice cream with topping and lots to drink. it was good. then we went back to work on one more horse. What a great day.

Friday we had Business in the morning and then we went to movement class. that class was really good we look at a bunch of horse to watch how they moves and what muscles look to be doing what and what not it was a really over loading day of movement. After school we went to Cracker Barrel for dinner with the Divas and then we went to a bar that has live bull ridding in and we watch that with the Divas as well. It was so much fun.

Saturday we had school we went to the ranch we normally go to and had massage with Sara. we worked on one horse each and only worked on the butt the hole time. it went as really good to so that cause I was a little confused on what to do back there and by the time my part was done I really got a better feel for what I was doing. Then at lunch the girls and I went to the Dam store and then we went to the Saddle makers store and we learned about saddle fitting. Then when school was over we went to the pool and lied out and just hung out around the house.

Sunday I got up at 10:30 and then got ready ate breakfast. Then I did laundry and did homework and then Sara and I went to the pool. Once we came back we went to the store and then ordered pizza and then we finished our posters for business and went to Kinko’s to print Sara’s and then we met the Divas at the pool and just watched them swim and then I went to the Divas house to print my poster and then came back to the club house with Sara and now you can guess that I am writhing this. :) Only 2 more weeks Love ya Chels

Today we just had a class with Pat, and then horsemanship was in the afternoon. Not any thing really exciting. It rained off and on today to.

I for got to mention that I learned a lot of new dance moves. Haha just ask me about them some time. :)


So today was really rainy and cold so once I got up I just did some home work and then I went into the kitchen and started chopping things up to get ready for our dinner and then I decided to make a Greek salad because I had all but one thing and I had to go to whole foods to get it so, Cat and Sara went for a drive with me. We stopped at a discount store and got a few things then we picked of the things I needed at Whole Foods and then on the way home we stopped at a dollar store and got a couple thing and then came home and I finished my salad and made Soup for dinner. After dinner I had a massage from Hidi. It was so nice. It was a good day.

To day when we got up we picked up Kimi, and Hidi and then we went off to the Bolder creek Festival. We walked around got some thing to eat and then we watched on of the performers that we know her she taught a class of ours. Festival was a lot of fun. When we got back we lied by the pool.

When we where done at the pool Sara and I went to the store and then we went to the club house and grilled some hot dog. it was good. Sara is a good hot dog cook. :)

Now we are watching Meet the Fockers.

Today was Sara’s birth day!
Cat got Sara a Tinker Bell happy birth day banner and she all so got cupcakes and stacked them up to make a cake it was really nice.
I went to a roping competition with Kimi and Hidi. That was fun. Then we went back to the apartment and meet up with Sara and Cat and then we went to the pool. Once we got back from the pool we got ready to go. We took Sara to dinner at a good Italian restaurant and had a really good time.

Then when we got home we decided that Cat needed a car so Cat got a box out by the dumpster and then we ran to K- mart to get things to make a box car. We named it Gary and when we drove it to the Divas apartment and they loved it.


It was such a fun day and Sara had a good birth day

It is Friday I am glad that it is Friday. Today we had anatomy that went really well we watched a movie on the Spanish ridding school that was really cool. In the after noon we had movement class that was nice it really cleared some things.

Thursday

Thursday Today We had Business all day and it was a good thing we where in the class room because it was raining, hailing, lightning, thundering , and a tornado even touched done about an hour away from where we live and go to school. That was a little scary to find out. Business was good to day I got some good stuff out of it to help me with trying to get thinking more about my business.

I want to give a few chat outs. Congrats Morgan on graduating wish I was there. Micha I hope that things get better for you and you call me any time I mean it. Love you

Wednesday

Wednesday
We learned lots of thing from the fairer today we even got to cut open some limbs up and look at tendons and also we got to see him make a shoe and how he would trim a shoe. I learned a lot a lot of stuff.

Tuesday

Today we worked with the Polo Horses agene. This time we worked in the field with the herd for the first time. It was really cool. The first Horse I had was really hurting. Every time I touched her she twitched no matter what I did. Then when I went on the other side she would not stand still. After a while of just experimenting with the horse Sara came over to see how things where going and I explained what was going on continuing to work on her and then she started to work on the other side and then we hit a spot that really was not good and when we discovered that the reason that she was hurting so much was that she might have torn a some thing in her shoulder.
Then after about a hour in the field with the horses we went back to the barn and worked on horse in there stalls. It was a good day in Massage.

This afternoon in our horsemanship class we worked on lunging. Karen is being lunged hear. We got in to groups and my grope had to lead up the lunge line and hold the extra rope in our other hand along with the lunge whip. We had to lead up with out pulling on the lunge line to much and too little, and then lead back with out looking down. It is really hard to explain.

Cat was in my grope and she is doing what I tried to explain above.

Look Sara and Luw Can do it too.

Can Sarha trust Karen to Lunge her? i don't know about this.

Monday

Today we had hoof care it was really interesting and i learned some things that I already new but more in-depth. It was really nice to get some things cleared up.

In the afternoon we went to the Anatomy lab. That was really interesting we saw lots of animal skeletons and we also got to go in to the freezer where they had all kinds lot dead animals in there I could only walk thought to take a quick look and that was it. I would really hate to get locked in there it would really keep me out. I keep thinking what if the animals just came a live all the sudden. I also keep thinking about the movie “I am Legend" Micha you would freak out.

Sunday

To Day I was a little home sick but tried my best to keep busy. I sleep in to day and then once I got up I did some home work and then we went to the pool to sun bath. It was nice but then I started to think about when my buddies and I went to Rocky Point and sun bathing on the beach so then I had to leave the pool and go back home before I got home sick. Once I got back we all took showers and then we went out to dinner at a Mexican restaurant it was really good.

When we got home we I made Sara walk with me to Safeway to buy some T-P and when we got to the cross walk to we ran in to a crack head lady who when she said hi to us she had her finger up her nose it was weird then when we where walking back home she was walking to the other corner and she went before she was suppose to go and almost got hit. Then she whistled over to us and said something like I can see them but I cant stop them and it was really weird.

Saturday

Today we sleep in and got ready. Once I was ready to go I went out and got my hair cut, then went to target and got a couple of things.
once I got back Sara and I had chicken nuggets and tater tots for lunch. ( it reminded me of Nico) haha after lunch Cat, Sara and I drove over to Fort Collins and stopped at the Barnes and Noble (it was a new thing for the Canadian and Ausie) haha they both bought some thing so I take it they liked it. Then we drove done by CSU and found a parking spot and decided to walk done the street to cheek it out. There was an Indian festival going on not that interesting so we just keep walking cheek thing out and then we walked back to the car and came back home.

Then in the evening we just hung out did our own thing for dinner and then we hung out around the house finished laundry and then when to the club house and to watch a movie. We are watching Meet the Parents.

Its Friday

To day we had massage all day and got out a little early. It was nice because it was a Friday and we where ready to start the weekend.

The Ranch that we do massage at has a pasture that have some new moms and when a few of us went to put some horses back in the other pasture we stopped to watch one of the babies run around its mom and chase some birds it was so cute.

Once we got home Sara and I got a list together and we walked to the store to get things for dinner she cooked ravioli with Alfaro, asparagus, mushrooms, and chicken. I helped her cook. It was really good. “good dinner Sara" :) Now we are in the club house and we are going to watch No Reservations, and eat ice cream our weekend nights almost always consist of a movie and ice cream it is awesome.

To day we had Business and Anatomy in the class room. In business we talked about different subjects such as tack, trainers, healers, Vets, gizmos, ect... we had a partner and a subject ex. Sue and I had tack, and trainers, and we had to tell the strengths, weakness, opportunities, and threats of the trainer and then for tack as well. Then each grope had to go up to the front of the class and write done and talk about what we came up with.

In Anatomy we just went over the last of the muscles and then we where in groups and where assigned a club and we had to talk to them about some of the muscles that the group uses the most in there disciple. my grope had a eventing club.

Once we got home we got ready to go to the Lipizzaner show. The Lipizzaner show was awesome it was kind of like a review of some of the things that we have learned in school but it was so neat to watch and learn about there history.

My Comperter is fixed !

Hey all,

My Computer is fixed now so now I am excited to start sharing with every one my adventures in Colorado.

To day we went to this really neat ranch up in Laporte. It is really pretty up in about 9 thousand altitude. They have a really nice facility up there and some nice looking horses but a bit more wiled than what we have been working on so we learned a lot.

We started the day really early so all of us form the class all graded some breakfast at a good little restaurant right off the road. Sara ordered two pancakes thinking they where normal sized pancakes but they where as big as her head, she only finished one. :) Cat and I got the famous cinnamon roll that was as big as a small plate. I think we both only finished half of it.

We worked on the horses at the ranch all morning and then finished at about 2:00pm so once we got home we did not know what to do with our self’s. haha Finally Sara and I decided to order Chinese food and got lots of food.

tomorrow after class we are all going to the Lipizzaner Stallions.
